		<description><![CDATA[This is crazy exciting! When people find a contract in Freedmen&#039;s Bureau records, esp dated 1865, it is almost always the former owner. Congrats! See if that guy is living near them in 1870 census. Since he didnt die before 1865, try to find his parents and check their probate for their slaves..maybe Jerman is listed. Ancestry&#039;s family tree&#039;s is a good source for finding the parent&#039;s names, also Familysearch&#039;s IGI]]></description>
